What the Raising Hope Conference Meant for Laudato Si’ Animators
Some gatherings inform us. Others transform us.
The Raising Hope Conference was one of those moments for the Laudato Si’ Animators community.
More than a conference, it became a shared space to reconnect with the heart of our mission: caring for our common home while walking with communities in times of uncertainty.
Where Hope Became Real

Through stories, dialogue, and reflection, the conference made space for honesty — naming climate anxiety, social injustice, and ecological grief — while also lifting up resilience, creativity, and faith in action. For many Animators, this was a powerful reminder that we are not alone in this work.
Formation That Touches the Heart
The experience is deeply aligned with the Laudato Si’ Animators Training Program. It reinforced that formation is not just about skills, but about inner conversion, community, and sustained commitment.
Animators left with renewed clarity about their role as bridges between faith and action, local realities and global movements.
From Inspiration to Action
The conference emphasized that hope is not passive — it is practiced.
For Laudato Si’ Animators, this meant recommitting to:
- Strengthening local communities of action
- Centering hope in ecological education
- Supporting one another to prevent burnout
Carrying Hope Forward
As the Laudato Si’ Animators Training Program continues to grow, the spirit of the Raising Hope Conference travels with us. Hope is not a one-time event — it is a daily choice.
And together, we are choosing to live it.
